Use SMD components for the transistors (BC850C or MMBT5089) up the top. You can use through-hole, but you’ll need to make sure they’re out of the way of the top jacks.
Similarly, Lumberg jacks are recommended. Something small and out of the way.
Depending on the footswitch you use, you may be able to move the drill holes down 3-4mm.
